Export

Just Catnaps has extensive experience in delivering kittens around the world
In general, the following applies:
- The kitten receives two initial vaccinations, deworming, and identification marking with a chip.
- The kitten is examined by a veterinarian at 14 weeks of age.
- The kitten is provided with an EU passport and vaccinated against rabies.
- Swedish pedigree from SVERAK
Before departure: The kitten is re-examined by a veterinarian, and the passport is completed with a health declaration stating that the kitten is ready to travel to or with its new owner. The kitten is about 16 weeks old when everything is finalized.
Collection and transport
The most common method is personal pickup from us. Many of our cats have also traveled with a transporter, either individually or with a sibling, where the final delivery occurs closer to the new owners.
In certain exceptional cases, transportation may take place via animal cargo if both the departure and destination can be managed under the personal supervision of both the sender and the receiver. This requires that the kitten can be safely transported from Umeå to Arlanda in a manner beneficial to the kitten. This also entails additional costs.
To summarize, we recommend personal pickup or a professional transporter who can keep the kitten in the cabin.
Important: It is up to the buyer to notify us well in advance about the specific requirements and regulations of the destination country so that the proper measures are followed and documented by us prior to delivery.
Kittens intended for export cost more than those delivered locally within Sweden. The longer time with the breeder, as well as the passport and rabies vaccination, are reasons for this additional cost.
